WS2812B Heart-Eyes Smiley LED Module – 50 RGB LEDs
Product details
WS2812B Heart-Eyes Smiley – 50 Addressable RGB LEDs
Cheerful decorative LED module with black PCB, suitable for ESP32, ESP8266, Arduino and other microcontrollers.
WS2812B Heart-Eyes Smiley LED Module is a decorative module fitted with 50 individually addressable WS2812B RGB LEDs. Each LED can be controlled separately, allowing you to create colourful animations, smooth transitions, pulsing patterns, indicators and custom lighting effects.
The module is suitable for microcontroller projects using ESP32, ESP8266, Arduino or other compatible controller boards. When combined with ESP32 or a similar MCU, you can make a WiFi or Bluetooth smart lamp, decorative lighting, an interactive light panel, fun lighting decoration, gift project or a custom device controlled by an app or web interface.
The black PCB gives the module a modern, elegant look. It is suitable not only for prototyping but also as a finished design element for decorations, gifts and educational projects.

🔌 Wiring
5V – module power supply, 5 volts
DATA – data input receiving the digital control signal
GND – ground / negative supply terminal
The DATA pin can be connected to almost any output pin on the microcontroller. Input-only pins should not be used because they cannot transmit the control signal to the LED module.

🧪 Testing and programming
To test the WS2812B smiley LED module with an ESP32, Arduino, ESP8266 or another microcontroller compatible with Arduino IDE, you can use ready-made libraries to control the LEDs.
Suitable libraries include:
⬇️ Download the Adafruit test code
These libraries make it easy to control individually addressable WS2812B RGB LEDs. You can quickly configure colours, brightness, animations, transitions, flashing, pulsing and custom effects without writing all the control code from scratch.
Connect the module to the microcontroller using the 5V, DATA and GNDpins, install the library in Arduino IDE and upload a simple test program.

⚠️ Warning
The module cannot operate on its own by simply connecting it to a battery. WS2812B LEDs are digitally addressable and require a control data signal in addition to power. They must be driven by a microcontroller such as ESP32, ESP8266, Arduino, Raspberry Pi or another compatible controller board.
