The official Raspberry Pi case is designed for Raspberry Pi Zero and Raspberry Pi Zero W boards. It protects the board and allows the enclosure to be adapted to different uses with three interchangeable upper lids.
The case is made of matte-finish plastic in Raspberry Pi's distinctive white and raspberry colour scheme. It consists of a base and a snap-fit lid, so no screws are needed.
Three lid options are included:
- a solid lid without openings,
- a lid with an opening for GPIO pin access,
- a lid with an opening and mounting point for a Raspberry Pi camera.
The base has cut-outs for the board's connectors. Rubber feet help prevent the case from sliding on a work surface. A short flat cable for connecting a compatible Raspberry Pi camera is also included.
